How does it work
A good coach creates a safe, non-judgmental space in which you can explore your current life situation and learn how to make changes or improvements to achieve desired goals.
Coaching psychology employs established evidence-based techniques that help you understand thoughts, feelings, memories and physical sensations that can influence our behaviours and beliefs about ourselves.
You can learn a whole range of skills that help you to, navigate through times when you feel stuck and unable to achieve your goals, improve your self-confidence, increase your ability to operate under pressure and improve your motivation.
Sessions also help you identify and explore the things in life that really matter to you on a fundamental and personal level, because the scientific evidence shows that living your life in the service of your personal values impacts on your quality of life.
You will also gain an understanding of how we think as individuals. This, together with your personal package of skills and strategies empower you to maximise your potential and improve your personal well-being through mindful values-based living.
Here are some examples of sessions designed to tackle everyday life issues.
MORE DIRECTION AND FOCUS
Have you ever asked yourself if you're getting as much enjoyment out of life as you should? How do you define your core personal values? Living your life according to your values is at the core of my coaching process. Values clarification sessions are designed to help you explore and discover your true values and understand the impact they have on our lives, because understanding what's actually important to us, and what's not, provides direction in life
INCREASE YOUR MOTIVATION
Increasing levels of physical exercise is one of the keys to a happier, healthier life. In spite of knowing this we often neglect both our physical and mental wellbeing. Sessions explore acceptance and mindful observation of our experiences, which in turn provide us with an opportunity to reframe the way we think about physical activity and increase our motivation.
IMPROVE YOUR CONFIDENCE
Confidence is related to the belief in our ability to succeed. Confidence building sessions provide you with the skills and the opportunity and take small but positive steps toward challenging your self-limiting beliefs, build resilience and ultimately provide you with success which in turn will change your beliefs and so increase your confidence.
Treatment costs and Payment options
Costs depend broadly on the type of coaching session. Individual face to face sessions lasting one hour, start from as little as £45. Coaching is based on you as an individual, so there is no set number of sessions.
Packages can include face to face meetings, text message or email support in between meetings and homework tasks, group-based workshops and presentations.
